Family LawParalegal
A second paralegal seat on a family law team, working directly with attorneys on active cases.
New Port Richey, Florida
The Position
A second paralegal, beside the one already here.
Hughes Law Group is adding a paralegal to the family law team, working directly with attorneys on active cases. This is a second seat rather than a vacancy, so you arrive to a desk with an established paralegal beside you and an office administrator who has supported the practice since 2013.
What We Are Looking For
One year or more in a law office, with family law preferred.
Required
Clear writing, and sound judgment with confidential matters. Billing experience, and the time management to hold deadlines and calendars across several active files at once. A professional manner with judicial assistants, clients, and opposing firms.
Welcome
Family law experience, and familiarity with Clio, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience preparing financial affidavits in Family Law Software. An associate or bachelor's degree, a paralegal certificate, or Florida Registered Paralegal designation. A Florida notary commission, and prior work in the Pasco, Hillsborough, or Pinellas family divisions.
Candidates who meet part of this and want the rest are encouraged to apply.
